Association Most was established in 2009 in Gradiška and has positioned itself as the most influential and successful NGO in the Municipality of Gradiška today. In accordance with the strategic plans, mission of the Association which is based on the principles of sustainable development, and the past implemented activities, the Association currently has three active program areas: Protection of the Environment, Youth Issues and Local Development. Over the past 5 years Association has implemented high number of successful projects related to three mentioned program areas. Cooperation was established with numerous partners within Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. The work of the Association was recognized and supported by high number of respective donors, some of which are: UNDP, Embassy of the United States of America in Sarajevo, Embassy of Czech Republic in Sarajevo, IPA Croatia-BiH Cross Border Cooperation program, Rufford Foundation, European Commission’s Youth in Action program, Ministry of Youth Education and Sport of the Government of Republic of Srpska, Environment Preservation Fund of Republic of Srpska, Municipality of Gradiška, etc. In addition, Association's offices are based in the heart of Gradiška with more than 80m2 of functional office space, technically equipped with computers, printers, video projectors, and other technical equipment. The management of the Association is made of experienced NGO sector managers and workers who have successfully implemented and developed high number of both small-scale and large-scale projects. Three paid staff are currently working within the Association, in addition to 154 registered volunteers, who are active within the Local Voluntary Service operated by the Association, and significant number of highly educated expert associates.
